swingtrading.can you make a living?

I have been reading trading books for a while(Dave landry on swing trading,the master swing trader,technical analisis of finantial markets,etc) and I'm wondering; can you realy make a living trading stocks without any other source of imcone?
If you are one of those,please I would like to read your thougts.

I just voted for r. So far it is neck and neck with the second r.
I might get mixed up though and not know which r is in the lead.
Can someone please keep a check on this so I will know which
r wins this thing? Oh. That's right. One r is red and one r is blue.

My vote just made it 4 votes for the reds. The blues have a measly 2 votes. (The red vote is the top box.)
 
I can't believe you lot are voting for 'r', when the obvious choice is 'r':D

Anyway I've voted for 'r', may I humbly suggest that you do the same.
 
I've neve been fond of the letter '-'. I went so fa as to petition congess to emove it fom the alphabet.
Neithe gets my vote.
