Swing trading US stocks

I have a question for traders trading US stocks:
How do you perform after the drop of DJIA on 6 of May? Do you find meaningful trends to trade?
 
Swing trading URE for the past week or so between $34.25-$38.00, hoping to get another opportunity tomorrow under $35.00.

May 6 had no effect on me; I didn't press the sell button.
 
I had a short on that day but it didn't drop huge amounts anyway.
To be honest i have stepped away since then to let the daily charts get a bit more realistic again, although looking the other day i missed some short entries after the temporary move back up.
I must admit i have been a bit lazy getting back into it
