The vast majority of intelligent woman are voting Clinton, as they should. This election has nothing to do with media and everything to do with the absurdity of Trump and the Republican party. Trump's going to lose this election badly. The level of delusion on this site about the election is off the charts.

If you switch on CNN for a bit and then switch over to Fox for a bit you might wonder if they were reporting from different planets.

Because voter complacency is a thing both campaigns would want to work against.
Getting lazy a month out isn't wise.

So in my opinion, wouldn't this work in Trumps favor? I mean Hillary is not liked at all by most democrats and they are only voting for her because they don't want to see Trump in the white house. So if they think Hillary is going to win in a landslide, they just might be like "meh, she's going to win and I don't really want it to be my fault if the country goes to hell so I'll stay home"

Meanwhile Trump supporters are all like "We've gotta vote...she's winning right now and our only hope is that we all turn out in big numbers!"

Yes, you're saying what I meant. Hillary campaign can't get lazy, or else voters stay home.

Even if Campaign A thinks they have it in the bag, they cannot let that be known. They must persist that the race is tight, otherwise the situation you have described will happen. Voters will stay at home thinking, "We're gonna win anyway." Campaign A needs its voters to feel that they have to vote, or Campaign B may win. Even if polling indicates A has the advantage.

Likewise, if Campaign B thinks they're going to lose, they cannot let that be known. They must persist that the race is tight, otherwise voters will stay at home thinking, "We're gonna lose anyway."

Actually the democrats have addressed that problem and have a massive "proxy voting" organization where people who couldn't make it to the polls, eg dead, illegal alien, etc, still are able to vote for the democrat candidate.

It's the least they can do to combat the republicans efforts to limit voting to people who are actually legally qualified, ie racism.

While you are obsessed with matters that have no statistical impact on the election ( e.g. minor registration issues ), you are missing that it's pretty much guaranteed that the female and minorities vote are going to swing this election. Trump has done everything he can to turn off those voters.
