Swing/Position Trades

Covered EXPE @ 66.10 - 1.20

The trend has definitely down on this stock and it has eventaul downside to 57, then 50, but i will await for a better entry
 
ok, this is bud fox to gordon gecko.......blue horshoe loves to SHORT CBT......Long term downtrend that hasn't been broken, and a recent pop up only on the settlement of a lawsuit, the pop is over, big gap immediately below, make 5 pts in a week.
 
I like reading your posts and I thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Matt and I too am a swing/momentum trader. I generally trade in 5 to 10 day cycles depending on the technical indicators.

I'm curious how often you trade? I've tried to trade in an intraday fashion, but I just can't seem to make a profit and I endure 10 times as much stress.



Currently I'm Long in equal portions of ACCT, BSX, HSP, BUD, RA, SWFT and UCO.

Welcome.

I trade as little as possible, 2-3 swing or longer entries a week with 1-3 scalps a week.

Daytrading is stressful, it requires tremendous concentration and skills only experience can give you.

My office was not outfitted well for daytrading either: my furniture broke too easily when I smashed things following bad trades:D
 
OK, this isnt really a true swing trade, more of a news based swing trade, but anyone like this stock long on the fact that it plummeted 20% today on what is likely bullshit news.

I got in long at 10.3 with a stop at 9.7. Just a flyer, at worst I lose 5%, at best, pick the 20% back up.............
 
Glad to see some other swing traders. ACRT opened thursdayat its lowest point since 1998 and sprung upward. It also topped Thursday the near its lows of February @ 11.

The sector is in a downtrend and near support but subsector - credit services - is in a nosedive.
