swing-day trading US stocks

No I never do that. I'm breakout trader and I just go in trade on breakout. Not good in buy low and short high. I dont tell that is bad, just I'm not good in that and I avoid that

Market commentary:

Good day! We seen what we expected and that is at least temporary bottom. So daily support area hold as can see on charts (for now).

I won’t expect swing opportunities right away; we need more rest for that. So I will stick with intraday moves and stocks with own way. For now will expect to see more choppy daily consolidation. Since my style isn’t good for pivot trading I will stay with same risk and that mean smaller risk for now.

Good luck

Market commentary:

Good day! Hope you all had good day yesterday. We got stronger bounce then expected, but that wasn’t bad for open long trades as N, MRX, ISRG, TXU, AVA and SMSC. So I think we had nice day yesterday in line with style what I use. N saw 1st resistance area http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07202006n.jpg . Now is up to trader what will use for exit. I just gave my ideas how I look and what I like to get. Will be to easy when that will be enough, we need to follow market action, stock action and then make decision. MRX day trade saw target area yesterday. Good example what I’m looking for. http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07202006mrx.jpg Had that one on yesterday watch list. This is just example what kind of trades I like to use. Since I’m breakout trader I like to see volume picking up when have setup and yesterday ISRG setup is good example of that: http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07202006isrg.jpg . BIDU wasn’t strong yesterday, but my plan is to stay longer time in that one so I use larger stop for now to, and still like what I see.
Market action was stronger then expected and that can see easily on intraday charts.

QQQQ touched 10ma daily resistance area, but what I like to see is volume as prove that we seen bottom for now. We are still in bear market so I won’t be too excited for long side yet. We have too many resistances over head and in bear market, so still caution.

You can see resistance areas on SPY daily chart. Previous support becomes resistance, also 200, 10, 20 ma very close. Same is with DIA daily chart:

Market still has lower lows and lower highs what is definition of bear market. Yesterday strong bounce told us that bears need rest. Also bulls need rest intraday after strong run, and you all know who follow this comments that I need consolidation for opportunity. Intraday we are extended, and as usual after strong move e we need rest, so I will again expect today more pivot opportunities, and less breakout opportunities. So we must preserve yesterday profit for move after consolidation. If anyone will have any questions feel free to contact me.

Good luck

IMPORTANT: Take only opportunities what really like and really understand trading plan. If have question always can ask me, but isn’t good way to be successful if will take trades without understanding. That is very important. Only few trades is enough for successful trader, they don’t need a ton every day. Have that always in your mind.
