Sorry dude, but this is the absolute dumbest argument ever when looking comparing the limit number of deaths to a possible pandemic to auto accidents.
It's an argument that just literally means nothing.
Cases of the Spanish flu appeared in spring, slowed to a crawl and then hit hard again in the late summer. I wonder why it didn't come on strong in the winter months?
Reporting from Mexico City -- Mexico has launched a military operation against flu victims today in a district that has been covered under a defacto quarantine, suggesting a tougher line by the government -- at least temporarily.
The military said at least 30 suspected flu victims were killed trying to cross city borders.
Television footage from the district showed helicopter gunships flying toward the victims and soldiers guarding a road blocked with paramilitary trucks.
President Felipe De Jesus denied that the government launched the military operation at the behest of the U.S. A military statement said the offensive in Mexico City was carried out at the request of the neighboring law enforcement and residents

The other antiviral drug is Relenza. It's and inhalant which is an advantage if you're heaving your guts out (Tamiflu is taken orally). I don't know about Relenza but Tamiflu must be taken within the first 48 hours. If you have the flu, get it. It's a miracle drug. Instead of feeling like you want to die, you'll just feel like crap the flu runs its course
