I guess we could just try asking them to stop bombing Ukraine. That should be easier. Have we tried that yet? Maybe send them a nice bottle of wine? How else would you propose getting them to stop bombing a foreign country?
Cut them off from the rest of the world. Tell them they can rejoin as soon as the top leadership is removed from office and the invasion stops. Any other country that assists them gets the same treatment. Too bad we have outsourced so much of our supply chain. Maybe we needed tariffs, policy changes, or something many years ago to reduce the chance of ending up in this situation.
It hurts both.
If only there was a US politician in recent years who went after the Russians and Chinese with gusto. But alas, there were none. We don't talk about the one that did, it's illegal now.
Joe Biden's war on oil being conveniently, forgotten? His extreme energy policies favoring green energy which is expensive and not enough to cover all US energy needs. Like a lot of people have been saying reversing his destructive economic war on oil companies could take care of Europe and US dependence on Russia's oil but, Joe Biden beholden to environmentalists and their own special interests, the price of oil would drop. However, that makes too much sense, doesn't it?
