SWIFT ban begins

One company. Taiwan Semiconductor. China gets a hold of that and the USA is screwed. Don't they produce something like 50% of the chips USA needs for hi-tech manufacture?

Do you know that Taiwan Semi has factories in China?

You are the most stupid person I've ever seen.

When Soviet collapsed, what was the need for NATO to expand. And NATO bombed Libya and Yugoslavia without UN support. How can one military alliance controls the entire world?

There is no good reason for NATO to be expanding anyway. China is a bigger threat to Taiwan yet, the US will let Taiwan be gobbled up by China. Only a matter of time.

I find it interesting how little is talked about the most important thing. Russia's ace-up-their-sleeve is the fact they stated they will unleash nuclear hell (prepared to use all warheads) if anyone so much as steps a foot upon Russian soil.

This kinda gives them the whole deck of cards to play with.

But there will be plenty from other sources. Who cares about Suez.

A year of demonstrating that we have resolved to get on without Russia through increased production and imports will do the trick.

Electrical interconnectors will also be needed.

Europeans will take the economic pain, there is no choice or its Lithuania, Estonia, Romania etc. next.

But again, there is opportunity.

The US debt is a big problem. But we also have credibility. Russia can't expand their money supply by 40% print a few trillion out of thin air and have their currency at around the same level as it was at before the pandemic despite high inflation rates / strongly negative real rates. There's no shortage of buyers for US debt. Russia can't do that. Russia GDP about the size of Florida. Nowhere near the productivity.

Eventually, that debt gets paid. Usually, thru massive inflation. We cannot print our selves out of that problem. US dollar continues to be worth less and less every day.
