Sweet Jebus, we can be homeowners, like, Right Now

and you can explain this, same area, why aren't they all 10 k like the other foreclosures

http://www.trulia.com/for_sale/3858_nh/foreclosure_lt/

you saying how if it was true you would buy 10 houses

typical piker dreaming, I doubt you even have trading account

I could by the way buy 10 of them, but it makes no sense to do it

that's WHY NO ONE WANTS THEM,

piker

Not typos. All those houses are close to grosse point. The prices are correct.(yes from Metro-Detroit)

This house sold for less than 60 grand in June. 200 grand is wrong.

Also that house is not that close to GP. It's in "English Village" (although I never heard that name thrown around when I lived up in Metro Detroit). It's one of those hellholes you see driving down 94.

200 grand is wrong.

Detroit #1 again!

http://finance.yahoo.com/real-estate/article/106978/America's-Most-Dangerous-Cities

Violent Crimes per 100,000: 1,220

And that's not just certain areas. Or even downtown. It's the MSA. So go ahead and buy up those cheap houses as GM folds up and Chrysler shuts down.

The news has been bad for decades, but there may yet be hope for Detroit. The city's new mayor, Kenneth V. Cockrel Jr., assumed office on Sept. 19, 2009--and hasn't committed a single felony.

That's seven months of felony-free mayor's office. While that is an impressive feat given current conditions, most places would not regard that as a substantial victory.

Typos. Scams. Something is obviously wrong.

For instance:

Sold last June for less than 60 grand. Oh, but now it's worth a fifth of a million? Damn, Detroit is appreciating housing at over 16% a month or 514% A YEAR? I don't think so.

I suppose there is no chance that someone bought it for 60k because the previous forclosed homeowners trashed the house and then the new buyers picked it up for a song and rehabed and are selling for profit, huh?

English Village is about a mile or 2 from GP, though I guess "close" has a subjective definition.
