Sweet Bobby Chats with Tom Sosnoff at tastytrade

I don't understand all the venomous comments on here.

Oh, it's the standard Internet conflict pattern. I pointed out, calmly, clearly, and with no animus, where I saw a flaw in SB's strategy (as well as mentioning something positive about the video); he chose to knee-jerk about it and make it personal. I blocked him, but his little suck-up buddy decided to carry water for him and escalate - and we were off to the races. It hasn't been about actual issues since SB's first reply; just their attempts to protect their fragile, quivery egos and me laughing at all that lame-ass, incompetent buffoonery.

But I suppose I got my money's worth. I'll just block the other idiot as well; that should do it.

Keep up the good work Bobby, sounds like you're on a good path.

I don't understand all the venomous comments on here. If you don't like the way he trades, do something else. What he is doing seems to be working for him. Skepticism and questioning is fine, but I've seen quite a lot of these threads on ET turn vicious. I don't think successful and happy people would resort to such disparaging comments towards people who are just sharing what is working for them and are working hard to improve their lives in many ways.
Thanks for your kind words. It’s amazing that the video has got over 7,000 views so far, and the only negative comments and attacks have been from one place — elite trader.

I think I’m not liked here in this community because of my fondness for tastytrade and Karen. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

because of my fondness for tastytrade and Karen.

Karen specially. In an interview with her nobody asked hard questions. Hey, I even posted here the questions to be asked.

I like you, but I don't like uncritical worship of ANYBODY.

Did you watch my interview with Karen?

I don’t worship Karen, but I do admire what she was able to accomplish. I chat with her sometimes. What would you like to know? I could ask her, but it must be in a respectful manner.

Yes, and I posted the questions afterwards. I think they are in that thread.

Here they are:

I will speed watch the video later, but maybe Bobby can answer these questions, these are the ones I always wanted to ask her:

1. Why did she choose her unusual fee structure for a HF, that was tied to highwater marks, instead of the industry standard 2% + 20%? The highwater mark almost forced her to tinker with the books. Had she gone with normal fees, she would be still advising, IMHO.

2. Was she aware of the Yahoo group using her strategy? Maybe not, but if yes, why didn't she hire some of the guys or at least brainstormed with them? They were wildly successful using the same strategy. "Discovering" something is one thing, perfecting it is another.

3. What caused her to start the funky accounting? At the time it started there was no big market movement what would have caused a big loss or drawdown, so I didn't see the need for it? I am still baffled nobody asked this...

4. Once the funky accounting started, what was her endgame? Did she hope that she could trade herself back to profitability? The problem of the funky accounting was that it tied money up, but it didn't generate profits, thus there was no capital available to generate profits.

So Bobby, do you have an insight into these?

Further questions:

5. She is in complete denial about her breaking the law. Is that just an act, or she really doesn't get it? (that charging for something not delivered is at least morally wrong)

6. She said she didn't have enough money for good lawyers. How come? Making millions just on plain fees (not profit shares) and she couldn't get at least a half decent lawyer?

How do you know what her fee structure was? I do t recall any mention of it in any documents. What was her fee structure?
