To compare the U.S. with the liberties of other countries prior to the Pandemic...
I've lived in 5 different countries and currently hold residences in 3 countries.
Here's my list of these particular countries with the best liberties (top best...bottom least):
1) Canada
2) France
3) U.S.
4) South Korea
I have paid taxes in three of the above countries and own homes in three of the above. Travel frequently between three of the above (obviously no longer able to do such during the current Pandemic).
I saw more sick people allowed to board planes at the airports in the U.S. then any other country prior to the shut downs. I'm talking about people that were visually obviously very ill...allowed to board a plane with NO medical masks...their liberties protected and intact.
You can call me a leftist anti-american for ranking the U.S. 3rd on my list and the ranking remains the same during the current Pandemic as restrictions are imposed on its population by all countries.
On a side note, only a U.S. has been releasing non-violent prisoners early from prison due to the spread of Coronavirus in prison. In contrast, France and Canada have not done such that I know about but they are considering to do the same if Coronavirus continues to spread within the prison system (prisoners and guards).
P.S. I've never been to Sweden but know a few from Sweden. They state they have more liberties than the U.S. prior and currently during the Pandemic.
