Sustainable debt explosion?

No. I should have put "involve" in quotes. But it's laughable it would even need to be mentioned anyway.

What's laughable is you feeling the desire to post something - anything - in order to try to turn the debt situation positive, when it's clearly fallen off the tracks long ago.

If it has fallen off the tracks long ago, why are you still weeping and gnashing about it? Move on.

Wow, you really asked that? I know you come here to supposedly work out, but did you pull a muscle yesterday or something?

The topic is still very relevant, which is why it is continually discussed.

I agree.

"Probably" anything (effective) we do will result in deficit reduction. :D

Deficit elimination, perhaps. Reduction, no. We're way beyond it. But structural changes must occur that go way, way beyond a conversation of cheerleading small deficit reductions.

The path to deficit elimination is probably going to include some small deficit reductions. :D

Too small, not enough. The plan to deficit elimination will be accomplished by structural changes to our government and entitlements as well as defense spending. Your post, which you are trying so desperately to make relevant, is only barely so - which is why I said it had "little" to do with the problem.
