I am sorry to say there is a big difference between diet and treating cancer or viral infections like HIV, Ebola or even COVID.Leading diet scientists also have completely opposite views on the ideal diet, and what is good or bad for you.
Many now say bread, potatoes and white rice can cause glucose spikes.
Were any of them saying that 20 years ago?
Which one of them should I believe?
Speaking of COVID, in two years it killed more than 1 million Americans, more than two and a half time the American soldiers killed during the Second World War so don't tell me it is just another flu.
In medicine trying to treat hard to treat diseases, we are often so desperate we take on risks we don't normally take. It is true during COVID and in lung cancer treatments.
I was so desperate to find an effective treatment for an incurable disease I even funded my own "moon shot", a research project at a very reputable cancer center to see if ivermectin could be effective for lung cancer, since many posters on YouTube and social media touted it as a miracle cure. Why I picked ivermectin instead of fenbendazole, the other "miracle cure"? Because there are enough research on fenben, ivermectin on the other hand had few scientific research done on treating cancers and I was hoping for a miracle.
It doesn't work.
