Hi guys,
Shouldn't a pandemic preparedness be part of defense strategy ? If so, how is it that there seems to be such a lack or preparedness.
Further, the pandemic preparedness should be financed from defense budget. Similar to how cyber security and communications are part of defense budgets.
There should be a defensive bio-security branch as well - with an army of medical professionals and equipment and medical manufacturers, infrastructure etc. to deal with a pandemic, considering the impact on the economy and life and other impacts of this, wonder why it is not a full branch as of now.
What do you guys think ?
