That virus is nothing but a modified Influenza B virus. Obviously the Chinese aren't used to getting this type of flu so they don't have the defense's that us in the west have against it. It's already swept across most of the globe. Telling the general public that doesn't make as much money as making everyone thinking it could get worse would. It's basic common sense really.
