Hmm... I've never paid a penny to Xspurt. And I humbly think that I'm no rookie anymore, since I trade for 8 years already. So you probably confuse me with someone else. :)

I said me and Xspurt are friends and in continuous contact since early 2008 and he taught me some valuable trading concepts, such as context. Absolutely confirm that once again.

But he has never mentored me "officially" and on a paid basis.

You are right, I don't double my account every day or every month. Don't need that much to be happy. :D

Most of my months are in the low two digits ROC percentage wise. Believe me that's very comfortable, because draw-downs are also low, not going beyond single digit percentage usually. I start OPM operation with the new broker since next week, so hopefully some people will be able to confirm these numbers on their own accounts as well soon. Most of them are ET members, because this place was a proxy to the trading world for me and most of my trading contacts originate from here (aside from local Russian contacts mostly).

No,i don`t trade this kind of size,but testing so far and not at a clip.I traded 5 at max...Thin?At 15 cars on each level on average?Gimme a freaking break!Even 100 cars wouldn`t be an issue to day trade with.

Been studying and trading the index for 2 years now and have a good grasp of it.Most european stuff seems more reliable to me.And i feel i become a turd brain by looking at ES or NQ,or Yen(start trading Yen and you`ll be a turd in a couple of months):D They like a cobra,lull the vigilance.I can only watch it a few minutes,then i fall asleep.But i feel good when something is jumping back and forth like ping-pong before my eyes.But to each his own,i guess...

Well, I recommend you to try increasing size slowly on DAX before concluding 100 won't be an issue. Following this advice will save you a lot of money, believe me. Something showing in the book doesn't mean you will get it all filled without being flipped if you get what I mean. :)

Agree that different instruments suit different personalities. Myself I can sit for hours and sometimes days waiting for a trade without any problems. Patience is my strong side.

Never traded Yen, but trade Euro for 5 years already and also NQ for 4 months in a row so far. Like them both, especially NQ, which is a nice combo of volatility and liquidity.
 
Would gladly trade something else in addition to the Euro during London session. But so far haven't found anything. FESX is liquid, but it doesn't move. Much the same with FGBL. DAX and FTSE more or less move, but are illiquid... so hardly any alternative to US SIFs and currencies so far.
 
Maybe with such an approach (scaling in/out) anything is fine for you, but not for me. I like to be all in/out and have a very tight risk. My game is small losses, small wins, big wins.

Guess it depends from one's point of view and background, what is easier to do.
