LOL!! One month and a few trades does not a successful system make. In the case of your outside group, all I can say is a fool and his money are lucky enough to get together in the first place.

Not saying PDs WON'T be good in the long run but it's not too bright to buy a strat with such a tiny track record. One month....LMAO!

Not incredible, could just as easily be chalked up to a lucky streak. Plus, how many trades was it, 4 or 5 right? Not nearly enough for the incredible tag

I typically have 4-5 trades per month arbitrauging NDX, so being about a month, this is expected. Surf is the ultimate high flyer.

Trades YM and ES, and rarely comments about stocks... Other than that, no demonstrable knowledge of risk management since there isn't a single discussion of it anywhere.

The sizes appear to be random particularly, and without analysis from charts through backtests whoever would trust such ludicrous statistics as what's represented by Surf here on ET is a fool, and a fool and his money are soon parted.

Surely with the latest technology and especially HFT, those techniques are outdated.

No question about it. I used that example to prove that working strategies are sold to counter Daniels denial of this.

The market is screaming for something new ever since the PC has been misused to draw charts rather than analyse what really matters in the markets.

Here's my TA Call Surf. Go Long!
Now is the green light for the DJIA / SP500 / SPI uptrend to continue.
My call might be an hour or so late but it's only 5AM here in WA, Australia. Our market opens in 1 hr 50 minutes time.
Chop range on DJIA 13850 - 14050 should be finished.
I don't predict targets, it will run as long as it runs.
