Exactly. It's sad but whenever anyone does well here all the negative attacks occur. Wonder why? For example, before I got traction in the biz, I had a huge positive following here. But as soon as I started using my skills and building my biz, the haters came out enmass. Take a look at 2002--2004. Then onward. surf

Because someone's real success makes those who didn't achieve it feel the pain of "reality touch".

Can't say all people are such though. Many try to learn from success and do better themselves. Just as usual - negativity is more obvious, cause it stinks. :D
 
Well, then that validates my point further. Why would people trust anyone posting their calls here if they have a 30 min window "into the future" to decide whether their call is working or not. Just opens the door to deceitful practices, especially if the goal is to boost ones ego or to gain followers that an OP can try to monetize in the future.

I know I'm here to learn, obtain info to pass along in my articles, and to pass along my meager knowledge to others in the spirit of collaboration. Hopefully everyone is here for similar reasons.

I completely agree with you. From being able to shadow a marketmaker at knight for 3 days to learn how the markets really work, obtaining various gigs both directly trading and financial journalism based, working directly with one of the top niche hedge fund investors in the world for 5 years, and meeting/ exchanging ideas with V. Niederhoffer and his massive sphere of influence. and to top it off meeting a lovely and highly intelligent young lady who eventually become my wife--- among other items I can't recall, my time on the surf report and elite has been well rewarded. surf

no doubt--- but sometimes you really need to poke at folks deep internal market beliefs to find the truth-- it may seem ridiculous but unfortunately its the only way to get at the truth in an anonymous environment. surf
 
We are about negative 20 points in the latest YM trade. There has not been any changes in the underlying Price Drivers, therefore we are holding for now. surf
