I never understood this "live call" thing on a website that gives one 30 mins to adjust posts. Not suggesting that Surf or others change trades or delete posts if a call doesn't work out but the mere fact that one HAS 30 mins to play with a post is evidence enough that we should take live calls posted by ANYONE on ET with a grain of salt.
This is why before the fact calls or real time calls are a must here. Chart traders and other who live in the past can always do would of could should of in the 30 minutes. BUT my short that is averaged at 13934 is underwater right now, ( as all my calls) nothing i can do to change it, hence the value in real time rather than posted charts. surf
i never understood posting statements in the age of photoshop-- Heck, Bernie Madoff scammed billions by photoshopping docs.
Any one who follows the surf report KNOWS my calls are in real time and never altered for any reason. surf
When your time horizons are longer, then this is less an issue (as you describe below). HOWEVER, many people trade on very short term time frames. Many of my trades last LESS than 15-30 mins.
Just saying that, because there are many ways to trade and the durations also vary greatly, the "live calls" approach here at ET cannot work for everyone.

Mine are rarely to never in that short of a time frame so your argument is discounted. However, photoshop can't be argued with as a possibility when it comes to posted statements, trade records.
