Before you educate us: are you a consistently profitable trader? Last time I asked (about an hour ago) you didn't answer.
Quote from cornixforex:
I think you are right. For you there was none from the start.
Quote from CoolTraderDude:
I was consitently profitable from about 2002 to 2009 with diminishing returns towards the end... I was a pretty successful prop trader during that period. Eventually every edge disappeared and I stopped trading...
Quote from CoolTraderDude:
Get off of your high horse buddy... You've got fuck all to show for all your claims. You're not even honest with yourself... Which is bad for a psychologist.

Quote from cornixforex:
So you have no idea how to profitably trade for already 3 years and still going to "educate" someone about the trading "reality"?
Quote from cornixforex:
Oh I see, you're not only a great educator, but also a gifted psychic who knows exactly who is honest or not with himself. ET is a really nice place, full of talents.
P. S. What exactly of my claims do you mean?
Quote from CoolTraderDude:
That's the trading reality bro... Traders are full of cognitive dissonance... you should know that well as a psychologist... But for some weird reason you don't...! Why is that...? How come you've never mentioned it...?

The one where I missed my chance to learn about trading from you... Like I said... I didn't miss anything.

Quote from cornixforex:
Simple: I try not to use professional terminology when I speak with the person supposedly not possessing the intellect to understand it's meaning. Also there is cognitive dissonance and there is plain vanilla trolling.
Well, it was you who exploded with "BS!" and other highly civilized language blaming me and NoD on that we didn't provide you with something you can trade from... which made me think you expected something, but got disappointed with answers.![]()
Quote from NoDoji:
Oil's trading, slowly, but my price action setups worked fine, between 8:40 and 10:30 ET, six setups triggered, five reached minimum target.
Technical price action day trading works through all market conditions. It's not an edge that will disappear as long as there's a liquid market to trade and the market participants aren't all trading in the same time frame. These qualifications have held strong for as long as I've been alive, so I will continue to assume they'll hold until the markets shut down for good.
This thread is entertaining, no doubt![]()
