Quote from NoDoji:
You really have no clue what technical price action analysis is about.
I actively day trade two separate accounts with two different brokers, and I actively swing trade two other accounts. If someone wants badly enough for me to put aside my profit opportunities to prove TA works by participating in a âjust for funâsimulated trading combine for 10 days because s/he believes TA is useless junk science, s/he can fork over $50K to cover the profits I may generate trading my 5 lot minimum in the combine (and if I generate more because we have some more days in crude oil like we had last week), tell you what, I'll give 30 extra days to cover the difference.

You have an amazing ability to draw conclusions by filling in information of your own where none was provided by another.

No, let me tell you why. ALL the big trend funds run multiple trading programs or funds under their umbrella. The winners are promoted and the losers are pushed under the rug. Obviously, guessing on direction can and does work-- its called trend following. It can also not work, but the fact is there is no edge there. hope this makes sense to you. best, surf

Wife is half my age and ultra motivated---so that's not the issue.
This is what happens-- I start out doing the treadmill for 2 weeks or so, then I hurt my ankle or something happens, so I quit. It's very difficult for me to get motivated physically although I do hike and walk often. It's pushing for the peak levels of intensity that is hard for me. surf
Plus I love to eat, so it's doubly hard! I know these are weak excuses.
