The one question nobody ever asked was what percentage of his total net worth was his liquid net worth.

I'd hazard a guess it was a tiny fraction. A poseur would pick the more dramatic sounding number, and scrupulous accuracy does not strike me as being one of his qualities, so one would even question what he defines as liquid.
 
Amazing. Even with Surf no longer posting, a dozen trolls are keeping this thread alive. They have nothing better to do? Aren't they supposedly traders themselves?

No doubt they all have blemish-free trading records -- including the troll who turned off public access to his real-time market calls in another forum as soon as his P/L went negative.

And let's not forget the heckler who's himself a papertrader -- yet <i>moderates</i> here. A faux trader moderating posts by real traders -- swirl that one around your brain like a fine wine...

Guys, best to start a Chit Chat thread if you want to discuss your brilliant observations about which Elite Trader members have multiple aliases. I'm all ears for whenever I find out I ban them all (most recently tango29, taclander, r-in). But here's the thing — I have done a painstaking I.P. address cross-reference of marketsurfer vis a vis Rodney King and annaland vis a vis Rodney King and there are absolutely no matches across all the years the various parties have been here. Between surf and annaland's I.P.'s there are plenty of matches, but not for the others. So I realize you all are master poker players and thru the internet can read perfect "tells" but it just ain't so. And, as I said, start a Chit Chat thread if you simply can't let go, but I don't want a continuation of that nonsense here. Thanks.
