What have you "exposed" other than that he sometimes has losing trades (unlike the always correct in hindsight trolls)... Looks to me he's way up on his calls this year.
Quote from marketsurfer:
will continue to invest research and trade, but now in a much more humble fashion. Sincerely, surf
Quote from Banjo:
It's not that you're wrong, it's that people who understand TA, that what you see in front of you is the truth no matter why it's happening, were right. You're disdain for the proper perception of truth in the price movements of markets is what garners you enmity. We are not the fools you claim us to be.
Quote from marketsurfer:
Yes. I was wrong. We have liquidated what was left of the capital and have gone 100% cash. This is devastating as it devalues long term research and effort, not to mention the capital loss. Thanks everyone for following along. I wish you all the best in the markets and life. We will continue to invest research and trade, but now in a much more humble fashion. Sincerely, surf

Looks like it's time for us to join the (Salvation) Army, Surf

Wow...
Did surf really say he had 90% vested in that Emini YM futures trade.![]()
Those he worked with allowed such to occurred ? I thought these private funds, managed accounts, OPM or whatever with others had some sort'uv "capital protection" in place to prevent disasters like this. If the above is true (90% capital vested into one single trade), surf may be a rogue trader like Jérôme Kerviel that lost billions of Société Générale money (clients money) although I'm sure surf lost only a few thousand in comparison.
I just can't see someone like surf and with so called partners allow such a trade along with allowing him to maintain a thread here at Elitetrader.com to document such from start to end for all to openly judge.
Very strange.
