I don't believe this for one second. 90% of your liquid net worth is in one directional trade when you are married and about to have a baby? You have been net negative for 10 years here on ET (according to your pal Atticus) and you are going to place almost all you have on this one trade. I do not think so. Pure fantasy, but funny nonetheless! :D :D

WHy not? have you ever been assured of something so strongly that you are willing to take a huge risk? I guess not, and you will never understand so you mock those stepping up to the plate. 90% isn't 100%, there is enough left over in the worst case to start again.

Yes, I am all in on this one, 100% convinced of total victory! The future has been written in the DJIA, IT WILL NOT GO ABOVE THE HIGHS prior to a huge decline which we are positioned to capture.

OK giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe surfs liquid net worth is only a small portion of his total net worth ...Perhaps just more than enough to cover margins in a trading account.

How big is this risk in terms of Total Net Worth surf?

Seriously, it's not that I disagree with this particular trade however with your negative track record, putting 90% of your LNW into ANY of your ideas is a not bright.

You "know"? Congrats, you are the first person in history that wasn't manipulating the mkt who knew with 100% certainty what is going to happen. With 100% certainty, why only 90% of you LNW. Why not lever up as much as possible?

You, of all people, should understand there is always risk== your broker could fold, the exchange could shutdown, marshall law, anything could happen, this is why you would never place 100% of anything at risk, no matter how certain of an outcome.
