It is with this post that I humbly state will be my last regularly scheduled post for the foreseeable future. Maybe, when the negative vibe is removed, I'll return as I don't want to say forever. What was once a grand source of information, contacts, and entertainment has become a cess pool of angry attack dogs and "prove it" life failures. A once enlightening group of traders, dreamers and all around good folks has been hijacked by agenda driven, extremely nasty and valueless posts. I have a baby daughter on the way and no longer want to be part and parcel of this extreme negative environment. It's simply not healthy and there is simply no value remaining. Adding value here has become difficult as the signal to noise ratio is radically skewed to noise. I wish the true seekers of truth remaining the best. Its been quite an amazing 11 years but its time for the next chapter. Best Regards and thank you for reading , Surf

Well, it appears that the gonzo hate vibers have been neutralized so I have decided to return to the journal. By way of update, we are $42,000 negative on the year. 60,000 positive in January and 102,000 negative through the closure of the trades including one off binary trade and a few other plunges not recorded here. So, we are into the second quarter and surf's speculating account is negative USD $42,000 on the year. I will try to turn this year into a winner. Flat across the board for now except for long term holds in EDR and FSC that are slightly + currently-- these for for dividend reinvestment with the chance of appreciation-- i like the REIT and BDC space--- enjoy! surf
 
So the foreseeable future has arrived.... I had a betting line open on your return...

Surf, you forgot to ad the fees from your PD outsourcing. You know that source of income what you are getting from the mysterious entity who hired you to use your PD.... That fee itself should pay for your new baby's education.... (or I guess he/she will be homeschooled)

That's a seperate business, obviously I dont' include any income from the hedge fund business, PD ( which is zero currently the deal never happened ) or content creation/consulting/creative end of the biz.

LOL! no question, I enjoy it and find value. Sometimes the incessant negativity gets me down, but overall its positive. surf

LOL, nothing to do with TA-- more like a gonzo hate vibe toward the surf-- and yes, it has been neutralized or soon will be should it return. Let's argue ideas, strategies, tactics and even TA but stop the personal nonsense--- its very counterproductive. surf

Do you have any outlook on other trade ideas? Rising wedge (yes, a chart pattern, TA) on 30-year just broke. I was asleep. Boo.
