You should bank those profits and re-evaluate your edge while the money's still on the table

I am willing to give up some of the profits in an effort to catch additional downside. surf

Thanks, I am going to exit by feel now--- i don't want to give up more downside, which is likely, but at the same time don't want give up the profits-- so will have to try to let the market tell me what to do as its happening as I am willing to give up gains in pursuit of the big big waves-- best, surf

Nice going, marketsurfer.

Good overnight support volume in GC, 150K contracts traded so far.
Looks like the sellers have finished up for now.
Did the OP take his profits off the table?

Smurf tends to prefer big gains, and even bigger losses.

What do you reckon his win rate is?
It looks to be below 50% from what i have seen over the last year.

He slags off TA but his Price Drivers (what ever they are) seem to be no better than a random entry and may in fact be worse than a random entry (ie have a negative expectancy before transaction costs).

His method now seems to be incorporating some TA so hopefully this hybrid method performs better than the old version.

Next time...build your position if it is winning, not losing. :)

Easier said than done, adding to a winning position requires exceptional trading skills, particularly in the money management and momentum reads departments. Have not read anyone in ET that does it right, to the best of my knowledge. Not knowing how to do it is no less dangerous than death by a thousands stops or adding to a losing position.

My point, don't suggest this without guidance, it's dangerous business for most.
