Thanks for the update. Why not at least reduce the position when you were closer to b/e? It would have at least allowed you to make other trades in other markets, or even go back and average in if it failed back down, as it seems to have done.
I ask as you say it was a mistake to be all in at the start of the trade and your capital is locked up in this trade. I again mention that this could be a good lesson for traders. Admit a mistake and given a chance to correct it, do so. Or as I have done, get the hell out and start over. I click wrong, hang in to long, all the usual suspects that beat up traders, but the one thing I do now when I screw up is admit and correct as quick as possible. I am not saying you are wrong with your system, but you made mistakes that you had a chance to at least partially correct, but chose not to correct.
