Oh, so you mean that you believe TA cant work on equities but you make no such claims for ETF'S and futures?

The studies I refer to in my theatrical slagging of TA are based on the stockmarket and index futures---I am not aware of work done in the traditional commodity markets or FX---- I would guess the results would be worse for Commodities and FX as there is no inherent upward drift. surf
Trades like a stock but it's more of a diversified EV rather than a single stock.
I don't know if it's right to compare a single stock, like GE or CAT, to the SPY. I don't trade single stock names, so I don't want to make statements as if I am knowledgeable about their trading.
