The new baby has colic so he is either sleeping or screaming. Talk about pure hell, no sleep at the surf shack--- im too old for this-- signing out for awhile. Good luck to everyone!

If you can find a doc to prescribe you some paregoric that baby may be well be smiling and cooing in no time flat. It is what the ole timers used. May be illegal now in USA because of ingredients but it sure did help quieten a screaming youngun???
If paregoric illegal now then strap baby in a riding chair and go for a thirty minute ride in the car. Baby will go to sleep and very carefully take chair out of car into house so as not to awaken baby.
