Surf you got your system but I cannot see any system predicting a 1000 point drop. monster gains don't have to be made with monster moves. They can be made on much smaller moves (which are more predictible) just trading big size.The other day you had 200 points in the bag but didn't take them. You could have traded 300 or 500 ym contracts and made some decent potatoe chip money in 2 or 3 days. Monster moves aren't the only way. Massive positions on small moves work as well.

I don't think the dow has topped.

In addition, as far as ES and Dow and naz for that fact ...IF YOUR SYSTEM predicts 1000 point drop in Dow you can take the same trade in the naz or the ES. THEY Generally skip and hop along with each other. So get it right in the ym and you could take positions in the other two. If the dow heads south 1000 you can bet the ES AND NAZ ain't going north 1000.

Those are all very good points. It's just not my thing, i did enough day and short term trading in the early 2000's to last a lifetime.
