Funny how Surf pretending on ET he is an authority on trading by writing and publishing books, the endless decrying of TA and claiming keys to the kingdom via the superior Price Diving method.
The current short 10 lots on the YM via sim, I've witnessed this type bravado "I'm right and it'll fall 1000 points" trade over and over and over again resulting in falling flat on face like a clown. Humiliation or learning from mistakes is not part of the equation.
The Surf report is not a genuine effort at trading, it's narcassism and salesmanship at its best.
What profitable trader sells trading books?

But lets ignore reality this time, the journal is merely an avenue to get page hits in the belief any publicity is good publicity, never mind even if its negative.

I think I know how this will end.
After a sim wipeout Surf will up the anti TA rants (ya gotta blame something to take out the frustration and create a distraction) winds everyone up, creates a bun fight which always seems to occur in the dying days of his journals, Baron bans Surf for the umpteenth time, tells him bugger off, don't come back, but Surf being Surf worms back in and we welcome him like the prodigal son..

Ahhhh, 'tis indeed a circus and we are drawn to it.
 
in terms of future direction of US equities who is sweating more at this moment, bulls or bears. Answer - the most recent bears. Panic buying to cover positions is already starting. One of the most blatant bear traps I have seen in some time. Definitely not a day for white underwear for bears.

you are asking people to recall some random member of an anonymous retail trading forum and what his illogical thoughts were on NFP? punting on NFP is just that punting. We can say the long term trend, annual, monthly, weekly is firmly up. absolutely anything can happen over NFP. One thing is for sure recent shorts will be sweating like Bill Clinton at a trump rally.
