I am not long equities atm but I am long US dollar. Going short equities here is truly horrible. The dow is ready to rip another couple of hundred ticks anytime now imo.

Can't believe marketfaker wrote book of fluff lol.

It's commendable at least that Surf is running the surf report journal.
The trading community can then judge for themselves whether Surf has the 'qualifications' to publish a book on trading.
The proof will be in the pudding, what more can one ask for.
I'm not one of your haters for haters sake, but I sure get hacked off by shonky people who make out to be someone who they aren't.
Go for it Surf, keep posting, my experience tells me though that your beliefs about Price Analysis Traders (PA) is misinformed and you will fall flat on your face with your trading.
So many systems you've tried in the past and from my observations you are still at the starters gate.
I admire your enthusiasm and balls to putting your head on the block re this journal, at least you are attempting to be constructive to the large part which is more than many.

The accepted ET standard for Journals is to provide a screen shot blotter when claiming to be trading for real.
If he would prove he is really trading with real money then i would agree with your statement.

I think we know these are sim trades. Money is not the objective, whether his trades make (paper) wins, that is, wins greater than losses.

There is nothing commendable in making fake market calls.

the actual standards are real low here. surf could make calls and have zero haters if he was similar to ES journal in the seriousness. when he lies, and breaks normal trading entry, exit posting protocol in the name of his experiment; it insults every trader's ethics.

in doing so some people are driven to post ; most do not and they are the better people for it. i feel so dirty.

On trade2win they have even lower standards now, there is one vendor who posts his perfect trades after the market closes and the even the mods lap it up because they seem to be quite desperate these day, not many real traders post there anymore.
