Lol. Sure green energy.
Generated electrical energy is a finite resource. Most of the electricity consumed in Texas comes from non-renewable sources. Even if all electrical energy came from solar and wind, you still have to factor in the cost of generating that energy. Someone has to pay that cost.

Large-scale battery technology has... lagged. Its fairly obvious how they will respond in that region.
Personally speaking.. there is a large nuclear power station 15 miles from my home. Better living via nuclear fission. Its all fun until there is a Cat 5 hurricane. Still.. I love this place.
