The opinion is disappointing in that it suggests an explicit ban on muslims would violate the First Amendment's establishment clause. That is nonsense. The president might not be able to issue an order banning the practice of islam in the US. But an order banning entry of muslims would impede no one's practice of islam. It would just affect whom we let into the country. Muslims living overseas have no claim to the protection of our constitution. That should be so obvious as to not require explanation. Still, Roberts got it wrong.

And have you noticed that when he does use the teleprompter he doesn't sound anything like he does without it? His teleprompter speeches are stilted, and lack proper inflection and intonation. He reads like a 10-year-old in remedial class. And when he wings it, the speeches sound more "natural Trump" in part because they lack coherence.

It’s important to remember there were two travel bans and the first one was egregiously biased. The second one, the one the Supreme Court ruled on, was tailored to be compliant with nondiscrimination laws.
