Supreme Court to Overturn Roe v. Wade

We will see what the impacted states do. NJ is one so I will be watching closely. Definitely don’t want guns in Target or anywhere else my wife and children go.

Target may prohibit guns on their premises all around the country anyway....

Dumbest line from the opinion:

Justice Samuel Alito wrote in his majority opinion. "Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division."

So now throwing out Roe has brought about some national settlement and solved the debate and division? I would fire the Clerk who penned that..seriously.

If you want to see judicial activism in action here it is. The case was about the Mississippi law which the court could have simply upheld...but they decided to throw out all the precedent all together and change all the laws in 50 states at once.

Chief Justice John Roberts did not join the majority, writing in a concurring opinion that he would not have overturned Roe but instead would have only uphold Mississippi's law banning abortions after 15 weeks.

According to the Court conservative wing it is not judicial activism if you like the outcome.

Now that Roe is gone, for the first time Birthing people will be able to get abortions on demand up through 9 mionths

Name one state law that was pushed to allow abortions for any reason in the third trimester up until birth or you just spouting what you read in memes...

National settlement, no. Five of the justices who voted to overturn Roe and expand 2a into public carry were appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote. This is the imposition of the minority on the majority.

Not to mention both of these decisions are constitutionally flawed.

If anything the court has further divided America.
