IF you think gun control is such a good idea, 9Ender= move to high crime chicago where they have plenty of gun control+ plenty of crime.

Or move to Canada where we have less crime. Not convenient for your argument though is it. Toronto is a very similar size city to Chicago. The amount of casual crime in the US these days EVERYWHERE is absurd. My original point stands though. If these politicians want to flaunt unlimited gun use, then there has to be unlimited gun carry at their get togethers. Live the life you are promoting.

Not all crooks fear a skilled trained shooter, most do, or they tend to be dead ducks.

Now you just sound dumb. There are far more bears in many parts of the US then here in Toronto. Are there any bears here ? You might also note that a huge chunk of the US is north of Toronto ( and it's not just Alaska check a map ). Crime statistics show there is high crime in most large cities in the US but the worst crime rates are in mostly Republican led smaller centers. I attribute this to higher then average unintelligent people ( hence the high repeat Republican vote count and high crime rates ). Poverty plays a role everywhere.
Americans are of course free to pretend why gun crime is so high. Which is why up here hearing about mass shootings or various gun crimes in the US are never a surprise, whereas in Canada they are still relatively infrequent events. We can do better we aspire to do so not aspire to the terrible example the US presents to the world on the proliferation of guns.

Those gun bans are quite telling, aren't they? In reality cons understand the problem. But, how are guns supposed to "protect us from tyranny" if we can't get a bead on the tyrants?
Doesn't that tell you something about the crime in Chicago? Like maybe there are more crooks/bad guys in Chicago than Toronto? I've never seen a gun pull it's own trigger.
The neighborhood I live in you could literally back up a dump truck of guns and the crime rate would go up by 0.
I'm not giving up my rights because someone else broke a law.
You might be surprised by which party controls most of the most dangerous cities in the US.

Poverty is really not a key ingredient\ that's why crime in the 1929-1933, in US was so low.

Another big problem, an attitude problem many crooks have about guns;
if that Memphis punk had not been driving like a bat out out hell+ had respected the black policemen's guns[scorpion unit] he maybe alive today.
Treat every gun with the respect due a loaded gun= one of the 10 commandments of gun safety
If those Memphis punk cops had followed The Constitution,the law and police procedure he would be alive today and they wouldn't be facing 2nd degree murder charges.
