I agree they are trying to minimize it, but I think they are saying the ruling itself was narrow, not the vote. I haven't read the opinion and the news reports are too sketchy to base any conclusions on.

This case presented the conflict was obvious from the day courts started down the slippery slope of extending constitutional protection to conduct proscribed in no uncertain terms by every major religion.

I hear you but it's bullshit to say SCOTUS voted narrowly "in favor of a Colorado baker."

"The justices voted 7-2 that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission violated Phillips' rights under the First Amendment."

Nothing narrow about that.

It was the larger issue that wasn't addressed but the MSM propagandists know that most sheeple won't dig deeper. Especially the leftists whose bias they confirmed.
