Supreme Court rejects Pennsylvania Republicans' attempt to block Biden victory

Lawsuits involving States are heard in SCOTUS, not lower courts. The fact that Texas’ suit was put in the docket means it’s going to have it’s day in court.

Another opportunity for the cult to be disappointed but claim some nonsensical victory. I guess this is what happens when a nation has far too many lawyers with schedules to fill.

it's criminal Paxton angling for a pardon

From what I see the case has some merit. The Constitution gives the Legislature of each State the authority to write, change election laws for the State, not the Governor, State Court, etc.

Hence the people are represented in those decisions and not the will of a single person.

Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin et al. stepped outside the authority given to their legislature....... we’ll see if SCOTUS has anything to say.

They might have found a roundabout way to take it to SCOTUS but it'll get struck down on lack of standing.

??? We’ll see.

I'm not sure which of Trump's three appointed justices decided to change into the Hulk...Barrett, Gorsuch or Kavanauh.

Yet, no justice dissented...powerful statement (The Hulk). :sneaky:

P.S. Good news...an executive order was signed to prioritize America for the vaccine.

Bad news...other countries purchased what the United States did not purchase over the summer.

If I’m not mistaken the court only denied emergency injunctive relief, they didn’t deny or dismiss the case, it’s still pending.

This all will end up in front of SCOTUS, what happens there time will tell

The other story...there was no dissent among the justices. Thus, even all three of Trump's nominees / appointed...put a stop to the nonsense.

Is that Amy Coney Barrett on the reality (meant TV show) Lucifer ?

Most republican politicians don't like Trump, but have to be nice to him publicly because the base loves him.I suspect all 3 of SC judges don't like him either.Since they don't have to worry about being primaried or do interviews they can vote against him without repercussion from republican voters. Many of the federal judges Trump appointed have ruled against him as well.Since they too have their seats for life they don't have to be loyal to him either.

Trump supporters will learn the SC judges he appointed don't love him like they do,they got a warning of that tonight.

And get thrown out the same as the others.... PA was about specific instances in PA that the COurt rejected.

Texas suing just because they are upset does not make a winning case. State's cannot sue other states over something already decided several times by other courts. texas just being a pussy.
