Anyone else noticed the different styles and content of the posts between those whose handles are clearly a variation of the persons name and those that are a pseudonym of some sort?

I have. I'm not making any judgement about good/bad or indifferent, it's just an observation.

Bearing in mind the title of the thread, I wonder if there is any correlation between personality type and the sort of handle someone selects.

That's the bit I'm not sure about, but, I think it's fair to say that if you use your own name then you must feel somewhat accountable for what you post. I do anyway.
