i am a strength athlete, so i eat a LOT of protein (150-250 gms day) but apart from that...
i make sure every morning i get PLENTY f hydration, some EFA (essential fatty acids) either from nuts, or fish oil, etc.
i get some complex carbs as well every morning, like irish oatmeal (which isn't rolled like conventional oatmeal and has more nutrients)
im also big on phytonutrients so will try to get a nice dose of very deeply colored vegetables in the morning, either raw, or juiced
for supps, I take multivitamins, brewers yeast, r-isomer of alpha lipoic acid, acetyl-l-carnitine
I'm also big on eggs. eggs are a phenomenal protein source, as well as a great source of lecithin, etc.
imo, nutrition is a big part of the sound mind, sound body principle. this game is VERY mental, so why would one shortchange one's body and one's mind without fully fueling it
