Super Wealthy Deathly Afraid Estate Tax Would Reduce Deficit

Newsflash: those "hardworking folks" who worked their whole life should not sweat the estate tax because they are highly unlikely to pass through the exemption which is like 2.5 million or something.
People like AAA in the beltway should go rent (or purchase) a copy of the series Rome by HBO. It will illustrate a timeless principle that a society built on preserving the status of pampered elite is inherently degenerate. It does not work and will never work and almost all revolutions had the hoi polloi rise up against small numbers of overly privileged.
I support the estate tax completely just not at the confiscatory rates of 55%. 15-25% is my idea of fair.
It takes money to make money and everybody knows that is a lot easier(it is possible to succeed from the projects just infinitely harder)) to pursue your dreams when you are not living in the projects. You don't have to be born into a millionaire or billionaire family, if you are born into an upper middle class family your chances of success in life rise exponentially. If your father or mother went into an ivy league school, your admissions chances rise disporportionately.
Look at bill gates he was born into an affluent family, he went to a private school where he had access to a computer at a time when many schools did not have those, this sparked his interest and even when he made it to harvard he decided to go from there.
If he went to a public school which would not be equipped with a computer at that time do you think we would have microsoft? NOOOOOOOOO.

Being born into a rich family is NOT an accomplishment, it grants all the life priviliges in the real world but it is NOT something we should reward as a matter of government policy.

You were born into an uber rich family, at very early age you had a nanny (and subsequently a butler), your food was prepared by a private chef, your were driven in a car by a chaffeur, you traveled between your mansion and a castle in europe by private jet. You relaxed in Monte Carlo and/or French Riviera and when you went there you stayed in 5 star hotels, you went to a boarding private school. As you reached puberty, getting women's sexual favors was no problem at all both from your peers and older women, you drove a nice car, and had a patek philippe watch as a teenager. etc.
Snapping back to reality, do you think the aforementioned fictionaly biography of a boy turned man is a portrait of somebody who is going to give the world the next greatest scientific discovery?
Extremely unlikely. To achieve greatness a person needs to be hungry(maybe a little angry too). If everything a person may ever want has been at your disposal since childhood you are highly unlikely to strive for more.
