Sun holiday in Florida... where?

Quote from LEAPup:

For a piece of trash like dick-ter, Miami should do it. Hopefully he disappears!!!

Aw...Why'd you have to go there for, brother Leapie?
Please google: anger management

Brother Riccie, I recommend starting in San Diego and going at least to San Francisco.
Best drive in USA.

And the politics are right up your alley. Much more so than Florida.

Delray Beach highly recommended. Great getaway. Super beaches, town is right on the water. Just north of Boca and Ft. Lauderdale, just south of Palm Beach. An hour drive down to Miami and the grove. Nice bars and restaurants, shopping. Fly into West Palm.

Drive it on Google Maps.

yes, if you go to the east coast, delray is a great place.

i like the west coast of florida better than the east coast. sanibel captiva marco islands areas. st peterberg is nice too but too many young people.
two years ago i drove the whole state of florida along the coast. started on north side drove all the way to key west and back up the other side.
I was looking at the Naples area earlier. Lots of resorts.

I prefer Hawaii than FL but how about Sausalito huh? I love it there because I have a lovely little cabin there. ( I work in Asia but back to the States 3 to 4 times a year ) There are some very good charming, romantic hotels there lol :D If you and you wife wanna travel overseas for perfect peaceful relaxing sun and water holiday, then Maldives is the best :D

Ricter, ..happy romantic holiday with your wife.:)
The wife's not going this time. : )

Naples and the west coast is great if you're 65 and love bingo. (The west coast of Florida is the gulf, which is the toilet bowl of the U.S., the Mississippi being the drain pipe that feeds it.)

thats silly. the west cost is better in the winter time. much calmer water. warmer. less crowded except for during spring break. depends what you want.
one place i would avoid is key west. too rundown there. might as well go to cuba.

Okay, I apologize for the comment about the gulf being the toilet bowl of the U.S. That was kind of rough. The arguments about the east or west coast of Florida will go on forever.

But one thing is for certain, the west coast is not a vacation spot for a guy on his own.
