Suggestions for Automated Trade Management Software with IB?

Hi,

I'm an individual trader that is new to automated trading. I'm working on systematizing my trading and looking for affordable software that can automatically scale down positions on several price targets and adjust stops. Ideally +/- $50 or less per month. I've played with NinjaTrader a bit and looks like that could do the job. I've also read about Button Trader but that seems more geared towards day trading. I'm a swing trader. I'd like to find the best bang for the buck and would appreciate suggestions on software that could do this through Interactive Brokers. Thanks in advance! :D
 
best solution out there seems to be a combination of IB Java API and Python wrappers with easy Python programming.

Forget MarketEtc, despite a promising architecture on paper, its implementation is very hard because it's a faux "opensource" solution. Basically you need to pay to have access to the configuration documentation for serious ATS interfacing with brokers and Market Data providers.

I recently found a very promising application, it's called Eclipse Trader, based on the Eclipse RCP framework. Clean interface, easy and open options to interface to different market data vendors and brokers, it could be the solution I have been looking instead of METC.

One major drawback is the clumsy interface of Eclipse RCP. It's a programming interface with the generic views and perspective of Eclipse all over the place, which makes the whole UI clumsy in terms of usability. Presentation is everything in an application, and if you don't organize properly and professionally the menu and the workspace, then you don't have a real application, just some hack.
