Suggested Prop Futures Firms

What are some of the "big/preferred" prop firms for trading futures? I'm looking to do some research on them. I'm not limiting my search to any geographic region just yet, so please include anywhere in the US.

P.S. I tried the search feature, but when you include the word future, you get LOTS of hits :)
 
I believe Velocity Futures has a prop division. I used to be with them as a retail customer, they are good, they just no longer had the platform I wanted. Now I am with Pro Active Futures and I believe they have a prop div as well. Nice guys no BS so far.
 
Why would you need any more leverage than what is available as a pure Retail trader in futures?


If you are looking for a desk to trade your own capital, that is not considered a "Prop" firm.

My terminology may be incorrect, so thank you for the correction.

I was thinking more along the lines of the mentoring I have seen associated with Prop shops, but again, I may be using the term incorrectly.
