Not when they slap you with a whole bunch of trades that you did not even make. The account was negative but it shows that you make a ton of day trades. It was not even possible to open position with no equity. It was a crime, a fraud, by TD Ameritrade. I even had a print out of my positions before the account gets transferred over.

Whad does TD say?? I think TOS has a good reputation when it comes to reolve diputes, things might have changed since merger..Quote from tradrejoe:

Usually when you open a broker trading account, there's much fine print which in the end means you are still probably liable even for their mistakes. Why do you think there's so much reading involved... just read the application you completed, you will be surprized.
Td may not reimburse you anything .. The web is full of complaints like yours have seen www.cheatedinvestors.com
