Sudden jump on intraday chart

Why is there a sudden jump on intraday chart of stock sometimes, then back to its price?
is it bcuz someone just got filled cuz he buys/sells too much stock on the market that the supply/demand dries up at the current moment? It there was mistakes..does it mean somebody just got filled on those extreme prices?
