I disagree. As the sum total of all the participants the market clearly has a collective "memory", unlike a coin. Otherwise trendlines, moving averages, Elliot waves, fibonacci retracements, price support/resistance, etc. etc. would never come into play. But they obviously do, time and time again.The same can be said for the market. The market also does not care how many times it has gone down or up.
