With the news regarding subprime loans added to everything else, today should have taken a big dip; but for some reason it didn't happen. That says to me there is a bigger imperitive, i.e. options expiration week and the huge open interests on puts (contrarian theory). I now believe the market will "conveniently" stable/strong this week.
