Sub-Pennies are gone, are Rebate Traders gone too?

I happened to put up LU today and noticeced there were no more sub-pennies. I remeber there was a lot of rebate traders on ET, are they still arround and how are they doing without sub-pennies? Were sub-pennies very important to rebate trade?
 
The answer is no; Now with the spread being larger, I find there is greater opportunity (if you know what you are doing).
 
The sub-pennies helped on getting out of a position quickly while keeping your gross from getting too negative, but if you are quick, no need to worry. I'm only talking about nasdaq, not sure with the others.
