This comes down to the age old enemies in the Middle East that they want to destroy, and the situation of Israel with their thousands of years of conflicts that so strongly reverberates in neo-conservative ideology.

That you agree with the neo-con distortion of reality is just saddening. Neo-cons are shifty characters, who work "both aisles" easily - they are more into power and impact - utter selfishness.
